About me

​My name is Charl Cronje and I am currently 22 years old. I am living in Stellenbosch with my parents while I am studying BSc Sport science at the university of Stellenbosch. I love and value God’s creation and I am someone who tries my best to live a healthy and balanced life. I am a trail runner, thankful to be healthy and strong, fully aware of the privilege that I have to be able to do what I do. But most of all I am thankful beyond measure that I may know God and that I may worship Him freely.

 

​I am first and foremost a child of God saved by grace. I am not a saint, nor do I think of myself as a particularly good person. In fact, by grace I have come to see myself as someone most undeserving of the Grace of Jesus Christ. But I know that God loves me, just as He loves you, and that makes all the difference. Because God's love changes us on the inside, when we do wrong by Him it also affects us. And in that manner, God's love for us should inspire a love in us towards God. This love for God should make us live differently, see the world with a better eye, speak with a softer mouth and hear the cries of His children in need; and then in utter obedience to the Word of our Lord, and in ultimate humility we should live to glorify Him and love our neighbor.

 

​It is, and can only be God's love and the Holy Spirit, that inspires and helps me to be different. Which gives me the courage to dare walk on that most amazing path, which at times have me frightened, that I can not always see. That path which God wants me to walk with Him. For if I should have walked it alone, I surely would have failed.
